Welcome Facebookers

Hooked up my fb and blog and want to try a test post. What shall I write? How's about a soap opera type story? A co-worker and I chatted about this; I have skewed the idea to really make it more my own.

George loves Sunisha, whose olive skin and green eyes call to him during the long, lonely nights. It doesn't matter to him that she is pregnant with another man's baby, he wants nothing more than to make love to her, and buy her flowers.

At the same time, George’s letter to Madeline comes back because it was incorrectly addressed. In opening it and re-reading his words, he realizes he is completely in love with Del, and can’t imagine another day away from her.

Suddenly the door swings open and they are there looking at him. George tenses, but lets out his breath as the boss approaches him only holding two small cups. "Suck 'em back and be quick about it," snuffled the boss, sounding like a pig rooting in a trough of grain George thinks.

"Yes sir, sir," George replies, keeping his face as blank as the white walls surrounding him.

"That's a good fellow," pig man says. "You lay down and get a good night's rest."

As the door closes and the light quickly goes from a large slice of pie to a fading, small sliver of light, George starts to feel anxious. He knows he just has to lay still for a few minutes - let the medication work - and then he'll fall into the sleep of the dead, not waking until his door is opened in the morning. He will not remembering anything.

George hates this time of day most. This time is confusing as the voices speak to him of Del and his love for her, but then another voice screams Suni at him - causing him to falter in what he knows to be true. He loves Su... D...

This is too much for George, not knowing who Del is and then confusing her for Suni and "who's Del again?" He falls into a deep and dreamless sleep.
