Crackbook Diversion

Okay, so I'm a little addicted to cra ...er ... facebook, which has been a contributing factor in me ignoring my blog.

I get on there and even without new messages or anything to see, I'm off looking at groups or comparing friends or playing the music game (in an attempt to kick Darrin's ass). It calls to me and I regularly check it, even when I know I have no messages. I have not become so quickly enthralled with a site as this one. Very interesting.

Onto other things. Darrin and I continue to get our business idea up and running. It takes a lot more work than I initially thought - it seems for every one thing we do there are four more. LOL. All part of a new learning curve.

Let's discuss the disappearance of Cedrika Provencher. Check out this blog.

Young Cedrika was last seen by two of her neighbours around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31st. She told them she was looking for a missing dog. Police say she doesn't have any pets and are asking anybody who might have asked the girl for help looking for a dog to come forward. Cedrika's family said the girl always came home on time, and was supposed to return on Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. - her mother phoned police at 9 p.m. Some teens found her bike abandoned on a street around 8:30 p.m., close to where Cedrika was last seen.

Police ... have not commented on whether Cedrika may have been abducted. Quebec police are still treating the disappearance of a nine-year-old girl as a missing person case, but say there's a likelihood she was kidnapped by a man who asked her to help find a dog. "At this point, police aren't necessarily calling it a kidnapping ... But they keep saying anything and everything is possible, and kidnapping looks to be a strong possibility."

Finally, there are 75 KNOWN PEDOPHILES in the Trois-Rivières area!

WTF??? WTF!?!?!?!? Why would an Amber Alert not be immediately issued for Cedrika???? Issue first, retract later. A child found is the best way to see how the system works!

My heart breaks for this family and the pain they must be suffering. I hope Cedrika will be found safe and sound.

I am sorry that the system we have put into place has failed once again.
