New Layout

I've been trying out different layouts for a while and have happened upon (ever thought what that really means??) one that I like.

I like the greens and the three columns and the little flowers below the header (my mom-in-law can draw wicked little flowers - ya, I know, where the heck did that come from?). I added a new counter, but couldn't remember what number I was at, so started again at 5000. I'm tracking unique visitors too, so that's better.

Wii is supposed to get you up and off the couch, and involved in many movements as you compete against family and friends in sports like bowling, golf, fishing and many more including fitness tracking. We're great at changing things to suit our needs.

Introducing ... Wii Couch! (Sure to be a hit with Homer and his peeps.)

Yes, Darrin has mastered Couch Wii - an viable alternative to physically participating (heaven forbid) in any games.

For just $29.99 plus s/h, you too can learn Darrin's secrets. He has mastered the moves to get the machine to work - without lifting barely more than a finger!

I haven't written about my trip to see my Nana. I turn 40 and she's turning 80! I haven't seen her for about 4 years, so it was definitely time for a visit. It was nice spending some time with her, although I won't ever let her drive again. WOW! We'll take my car for any trips in the future. :-) I had a surprise treat of getting together with extra family for supper and a visit!! It was really nice to catch up on their happenings and meet the kids. I would have loved to see everyone, but this was a super quick trip. While I would love to see everyone soon, we all know what reality is like. Let's get together in the summer turns into the fall and weddings and school which then turns into winter and holidays and bad storms which leads to spring and babies and planting and summer which leads to ... you get the picture. Reunions every 2-5 years are a great idea. When you're at the reunion, everyone wants to do it again next year. Reality dictates that it likely won't happen that quickly.

So, I'd love to get together for a family reunion. Could I plan it? Sure! Would it work up here? Um, no. Ce la vie. :-)

Toodles.
