Life carries on. Regardless of what happens, the next minute, hour, day passes by regardless whether we're ready or want it. Adapt and move forward. There's no time to look back.
Just finished chatting with Darrin's uncle Bill. We stayed with him when we went to Holland. He's a tall man; I think he's 6'9" or 10" ... regardless, he's got a head up on me. He wears Levi's 501 in a 36 with a 38 inseam! He has trouble finding them there so I've ordered him a couple pairs and will ship them over. It will still be cheaper than anything he can find there. It will be nice for him to have some new duds. Darrin gave him a pair of Silvers that are only a 36 inseam, but are longer and fit him. They look great. Unfortunately, those are the only ones. We can't risk buying him a pair only to find out they're too short.
Things with Darrin and I are good. Darrin's working with Nason right now, helping establish their safety program as well as visiting different sites to help get the workers on track. He has been home for over a year and it's been so nice; I'm going to miss having him gone again. Thankfully it's only a couple days at a time. Tomorrow he leaves for 3 nights. He's driving this time, instead of flying, so that will play havoc with his back, which is sore from work at home. He'll put on one of his thermal back patches that should help.
News news news. There's always something happening in the news. There have been a couple more terrorist attacks, but not as large as Paris. It's horrible that we can become accustomed to hearing about outrageous things. I am still shocked and saddened when I hear of any tragic events. It just seems they're happening more often. The media reports mostly the bad and shocking, with a couple of feel good stories to placate us. Sensationalism sells.
Ariya. Ariya is doing well. Growing like a weed, learning constantly, repeating words. Just an incredible little girl.
Baby A is growing well. His due date is March 20, 2016. Can't wait to meet the little guy.
Just talked to my Dad. He lives in Peachland, British Columbia, with his fiancee Maureen. They have a gorgeous, little Yorkie named Vandoo. We don't talk nearly enough, so when we call each other it seems we're on forever. So nice to hear from him though.
Toodles!
