Ariya is having a sleep over! She's such an easy girl to watch. Always has been. Unfortunately, Hendrix is at home sick with teethies and a cold. Scaring his Mama to death by choking and wheezing and running a fever. Poor fella. Pretty soon he'll be back to coming to Pōpa and Granny's house for sleep overs.
I'm looking at trucks right now. We'd like to find something to pull our little trailer and also a 5th wheel whenever we get there. We're looking at Fords based on their towing capacity. So far the 7.3L comes out as the best, but they quit making them in 2000. I've found one, but have also read that the trannies tend to go. Oh the joys of searching for a vehicle. Pah!
My wallpaper right now is
I like it! Darrin has taken both boys to games so far this year, but not me. He'll be going back to work soon, so I don't want to get anymore tics just in case he's away when the game's on. We'll have to plan last minute. C'est la vie.
My thoughts go out to the family and friends of the 6 men killed in the Quebec mosque shootings. Another 8 were injured, many children, many critically. Rather than mention the incident, President Trump has instead focused on implementing the Muslim ban on seven foreign nations. I'm tired of the Donald already and it hasn't even been a few months. Fascist? No, he's definitely a capitalist. One doesn't get as wealthy as he is without being one. But his ideologies and thoughts and proposals and such. Just makes me wonder. Politics has certainly been a part of every news cast of late.
Mr. Jax. We got Jax just after Christmas. He's a beautiful German Shepherd, 3 years old, knows his commands (provided there are no distractions). We're going to obedience classes so he can remember and I can learn how to handle. Darrin's coming with us next week so I'm excited for that. This past week we learned sit and stay. Homework is putting the dog in a sit/stay and then walking around him. Jaxxy already knows this one. Again, though, it's how distracted he is. I'm sure he'll do well. Jax is a good boy. Assertive enough that we're not going to put him through protection training. Absolutely loves kids, as you can see with Hendrix. We're still working on the cats. He chases them and wants to sniff them - doesn't hurt them - but the cats quickly turn and smack him on the nose which seems to hurt his feelings. LOL Eventually ...
That's all for me. It's time to take my critters and head to bed. I hope you are all well. Know that I'm here if ever you need to talk.
Toodles!
