Where has the time gone? I know - is that all she ever says? is likely what you're thinking. I am just stunned at how things go faster and faster and faster with each day. I remember my Nana telling me not to wish my babies away. I thought it couldn't come quickly enough that we would be out of diapers and bottles. Turn around and our first baby is graduating this year. Absolutely amazing.
What is new with us? The boys are having fun at football and KVS is a good team assistant. This is DBR's last year and so he's playing with a broken toe just because it is his last kick at the can. He is doing so incredibly well and has matured into a wonderful player. Overall person is a better way to put it. We're so very proud. BDR has a couple of injuries but seems to be mended for now - I'm sure the end of the season will bring out more pains in both of them.
Recent happenings? Shared Thanksgiving with Dadums family - what a full house when we're all together! 2 + 4 + 4 + 11 = 21 plus I think there were a couple extras. :-) Dadums' head was spinning by the time we left and he mostly gave thanks that the busy-ness of family events is short lived. I am really enjoy the nieces and nephews now - they're at such cool ages!
Spent some time with our friends K&S, celebrating their anniversary - happy 3rd you two! Also spent some time with Auntie B and her girl fixing up their yard so K has space to run and explore.
Dogums came back to live with us after 4 years with his other fantastic family. Lucy and Sasha have adjusted quite well, while Gator and Raffi are very put out although I'm sure they'll come around in due time. Raffi is more ticked off than Gator, so perhaps Gator and Daig remember one another. Who knows. He has fit back into the house quite well and we have nothing but love for his 2nd family who sculpted a fantastic Irish with a booming personality. Pics should be posted soon.
Speaking of pics, we really do need to get our family pictures done. I think we've been saying this since 1998 or 1999 when we last had them done. Just a few years... Hopefully soon.
That's all for now. I make no promise of writing soon but can assure I will write eventually.
Toodles!
