Hmmm....

I'll actually populate this one:

  • Can't show breastfeeding on FB, but you can show T&A up the ying yang. WTF? Her nipple would have been covered by the baby's mouth - likely a larger covering than some of the bathing suits we see.
  • More pedophile bastards back on the streets: Parole board allows child-porn kingpin to go into treatment program ... Convicted sex monster Carl Treleaven is out of jail only 18 months after he began a 3 1/2-year sentence for running a child-porn chatroom. Again, WTF??????? Treatment program? These bastards cannot be rehabilitated regardless of what is tried; he will hurt someone else or distribute/look at pornography. We may not hear about it if he's lucky - and with all his pedophile contacts, I'm sure he'll have a ready supply of CRAP for his demented f***in' mind.
  • Yet another, James Michael Monias, wants to settle in Edmonton to prey on our babies.
  • Added disgust of this one is the fact he was this girl's step father. 'Evil' deviant sent to jail. Franklin Julian Logan was handed a four-year, nine-month sentence after pleading guilty to sexually exploiting a young person while in a position of trust. However, after getting 33 months credit for the 16 1/2 months he spent in pre-trial custody, the “deeply remorseful” ironworker has just two years left to serve. TWO YEARS??????
  • What has been taken from these children is worth two years?????? They get double time credited while their GUILTY asses sat in a centre WE'RE PAYING FOR with their pedophile buddies chatting about their "conquests" and "collections", with tv's, 3 squares and access to more privileges that many have. Fu**ing joke!
  • Negative, bitchy, grumping, obnoxious people. They're everywhere. It's important to look at them and remember: "Idiots were put here to amuse us". We should all be laughing our asses of the majority of the day.
  • Aggressive vs. assertive - are there times for both to exist in a situation together?
  • Mental illness, the stigma. Attitudes need enlightenment is a great article about this topic. People with depression, schizophrenia or severe anxiety should be free to deal with their issues as openly as someone suffering from heart disease or diabetes. Sadly, research shows the associated stigma often causes people to delay seeking treatment and families to deny a relative might have a mental illness. And to compound the problem, patients must pay privately for many mental health services -- if they can gain access to them in the first place. While modern science is making new breakthroughs on the causes and cures for illnesses lumped into this category, our society's approach and attitudes towards mental illness continues to lurk in the Dark Ages. I see this every single day, both at work and in the community. In the workplace, we see and hear of those who have "issues" - mostly negative comments about the effects of the illness. Would you tell your family member with cancer that he should "find someone to talk to because that's the best thing" and "it will be okay if you could/would just ____fill in blank______ and "medication really isn't the way to go"? Open your mind!

Enough of this rant. Toodles for now!
