I'm having a really down day. Big crocodile tears, sobbing, feeling overwhelmed. I don't like taking any more pills than I already have to, but today I took a little blue calming pill. So far so good.
Joanna's bachelorette was a blast. Unfortunately, I had to pack up Sunday because of the coming rain. That caused a bit of a commotion resulting in Kiershyn, Savannah, Joanna and Kennda leaving. Bre and Braunt were going to get another site so the kids wouldn't bother us, but without my trailer and with guests Braunt and Bre invited, things just didn't work out.
Ellie seems to be sick with pancreatitis again. She didn't eat her breakfast or supper yesterday. She had a good poop and I got to mL of electrolytes in her (she went and had a drink of water after - stuff must taste like crap to her). Thus far she's eaten a little bit and had a firm poop (I know, TMI) and a couple of pees. Maybe she's on the mend on her own. We're still going to the doctor tomorrow to make sure everything's okay, and to get more Metacam for Joni's arthritis.
Being a Mom is a never ending job. I feel like a referee. Someone's always bitching about someone and, for whatever reason, they feel I'm the one to tell about it. I'm getting to the point of saying, "Talk to the one you're pissed at, not me."
Darrin's gone for 21 days this time. He'll be covering 2 sites this time. I hate when he's gone so long. It makes time seems suspended. Thankfully we talk during the day and at night, which is really nice. He just left this morning and already it seems like forever.
Ariya and Hendrix are precious as always. They got to stay with Mimi and Papa this weekend. And THEN they got to come out camping. Ariya saw me and screamed "Granny!" I love when she does that, my little Peanut. Unfortunately, Hendrix had a poopy diaper and missed saying goodbye when we left. We'll see Bean soon though, I'm sure.
Drey just popped by with an apple fritter and a tea! How thoughtful of him. We talked about family happenings and that made me feel better.
One of my dearest friends, Florence, married Gale Bean on July 15th. Unfortunately, I got a headache and wasn't able to attend. I can't wait to see their wedding pics. Gale looked so handsome and Florence looked amazing. I'm sure the professional ones will be fantastic. I wonder if Rick took them?
That's about all for now. I feel a little better.
Toodles!
