Hi there. How are you doing? How has your weekend been thus far? Ours has been interesting, as they usually are with teenagers. We always have a variety of kids around and coming and going, and there is always something in the house that needs to be done. We spent some time with Dadums' siblings, parents and Opa and Oma at a brunch this morning (Christmas present from O&O); it was nice having time together to chat and visit. We stopped off to grab a couple things at the store, and now we're having a relaxing afternoon.
I love getting together with Opa; we have such interesting discussions. I think it is very important to be able to discuss and debate issues without feeling the need to force the other person into accepting your beliefs. Isn't that a sign of intelligence - the ability to listen to and contemplate an other's opinions without having to take them on yourself? Opa just loves to talk about different things and his experiences. He told me he would like to write an autobiography, or have someone help him by writing his biography. I mentioned setting up a blog, but he's not sure that would suit his purpose without causing other issues. I love my blog. I vent and rant and make absolutely no sense sometimes, but it's really just mine. An online journal that my kids laugh at and will likely never head any "best of" lists.
Well, time to get off the blog and back to researching places we can invest in and ways of getting ourselves onto to our next adventure. Take care and toodles for now!
