Hendrix Darrin Darryl Pierce

Wow! Granny is behind the times!! Hendrix was born on March 15, 2016. He came out looking like a chubby little bubble and has continued to grow like crazy! He's 15 lbs 3 oz now and every bit a button. Ariya loves him so much and is always giving him hugs and kisses. He has won over everyone's heart and is just a joy. He's 3 whole months old already! He's cooing and smiling and such a little darling. I'm so fortunate to have two such incredible grandchildren. It's amazing that they're 1/4 me!

Braunt and Breanna are amazing parents. Bre keeps the house and kids together while Braunt works hard every day. They enjoy their family time together and share the care of the babies. They've got it together, that's for sure. They've also got a little kitty name Jenni - who is sometimes an escape artist.

Ariya is a little muffin. She's into everything and is talking so much! Years 2 to 3 are such a big adjustment period for toddlers. Her curiousity extends to everything from toys to talking to exploring. Everything! She loves hanging out with her BFF Charlotte and playing dress up and princess dance party and anything noisy.

Everyone else in the family is good as well. Tyler and Kiershyn live in the west end of Edmonton. They are a pretty active couple - walking, hiking, kayaking and raves among other things. They have three sweet crittens - Finn, Coco and Dorie.

Dreytan and Joanna have been living with us for a year now, saving up for a house. It looks like they'll be buying in the next few months. We're so excited for them. (And us LOL) It will be nice for them to have a place of their own. The first thing they want to get is a lab puppy. A granddog!!

Darrin and I are doing well too. Darrin was home for almost a year, but had to go away for a couple weeks. He's back in town now, which is such a treat. Sadly it's only going to be for 4-5 months, but we'll take whatever we can get. It all pays the bills, doesn't it?

We are so blessed with our family. I wouldn't trade any of them for the world.

We bought a trailer this year and have been enjoying camping. We're heading to Miquelon Lake on the July long weekend and after than we'll play it by ear. Maybe a weekend here and there and hopefully somewhere to go for August long. It all depends on Darrin's schedule.

Well, that's all my news for now. I'll attempt to write more often. While I have good intentions, life seems to get in the way.

Toodles!
