Joanna and I went to Beaumont to watch Mitzy play softball. She excelled on first base and we hear she's quite the pitcher too, although she didn't play that position this game. We got to meet Charlie, Rob and Kris' new little Boston Terrier. Oh what a button. The first thing I did when I got home was to check if there were any on kijiji. The next thing I did was remember how much work a baby is with training and everything, and then the idea didn't seem to appealing. LOL
Darrin has been on a house and yard cleaning binge. Everything looks so wonderful. He's worth his weight in gold.
Speaking of gold, we've got the most incredible neighbours, Terry and Laurie. They are just the nicest people ever. Laurie takes care of the vines that separate our houses, and they're always willing to chat and catch us up on the neighbourhood news. I'm going to pick them up a little something just to say thanks.
Tomorrow's Father's Day! Darrin got his presents already: Mennonite sausage, Summersweet jams and syrups, SUPER hot sauce, hot marinade and 4 bottles of Sumac Wine (thanks to Maureen for helping me pick them out). Darrin, Drey, Braunt and Tyler are heading out golfing in the morning, so I'm not sure if we should have a brunch or a supper. Have to play that one by ear.
I'm not sure what we girls will be doing. I think Bre has a car show in Vegreville she wants to go to so that will probably be after golfing. Maybe Kier, Jo and I will have to find something to do too. I'm sure we won't have too much trouble.
That's all for now! Have a great day!!
Toodles!
