Ariya's birthday is coming up next Friday. We are so excited to celebrate it with her. We got her a new dress and purse, so she can dress up fancy because we are going to Jubilations Junior to see Shrek!!! Peanut loves going to plays; this will be our second one. I got a new gown so I match her fancy ensemble. We are going to have a great time!
Bean's birthday is coming up in March! He is really into Pokemon, so we got him a 200 card set (with no duplicates) and a new bathing suit because he and Pōpa are going to Millennium Place to go swimming, then they're going out for supper! I'm sure Hendrix is going to love it.
Darrin is on a 10/4 shift for the last time. He then switches to a 14/7. I prefer that because he has a little more time to rest up at home (and get the honey-do list tackled). This job is 2-3 years, so it's a little bit of an undertaking. They're setting up right now; Darrin says the workload is unreal. Hopefully things settle down a little once they ramp up and begin, otherwise he's going to burn out in the first year. Just too much stress with the duties and responsibilities. He'll do it though. He always does although I'm not sure how. He's that sort of guy.
I see by my stats that I've had a few visitors. I didn't think anyone remembered the name of my blog, let alone be able to find it. Seriously! I scanned google and am not on the first 10 pages (I don't know how to get back in that group), so I don't know how they get to me. Perhaps it's someone who visited my blog in the past and decided to check it out again. Not sure.
Kiershyn's pregnancy is coming along nicely. She's almost 30 weeks, so little Cubby is viable now. That's a good feeling. Kiershyn has a wonky placenta placement as well as something called a placental lake (?), both of which will contribute to her ability to make it to 40 weeks. She's pretty sure they'll induce early - likely around 37 weeks, but that remains to be seen.
We won't be seeing Cubby for the first week or two because Kier and Tyler want to babymoon without anyone else. This might sound callous, but I want us to be the first to see once their restrictions have been lifted. It will really hurt me if that isn't the case, but it remains to be seen. In my heart I feel that we won't be first and I'm just going to have to deal with it. As usual. I'd best not say anymore in case Kiershyn is the one who is reading my blog. It would start an argument, which neither of us need at this point.
I don't believe I mentioned that Breanna, Joanna, maybe Bre's sister Jessica, and I are heading to Great Falls, Montana at the end of the month. We're going to stay 3 days and 2 nights so that we can bring back $800 worth of whatever. Bre likes these alcohol seltzers, so she's grabbing those. I'll likely bring some back for Darrin as well. Of course, I'll be picking up a log of chew - Darrin makes over $100 when he sells it to the guys at work. Not sure if anyone wants cigarettes, so I don't know if I need to grab them. Bre loves Target; we'll be spending a long time in there, or all three days. Haha I'm going to check what there is to do there as we won't be shopping ALL the time. I'm pretty excited.
Signing off. T
