Just a quick note tonight to say that Dreytan and Joanna's wedding was incredible. They both looked phenomenal, things went off with only a couple small glitches (note: always remember to bring garbage bags to the hall for the caterers), and the newlywed couple is leaving tomorrow for a camping honeymoon in southern Alberta or BC. They're also planning a trip to Mexico in the winter.
The pics from the photographer won't be back for a bit, but she sent a sneak peek that I'm posting. The photographer is Mikaela Sloat and she was incredible. Not only did she set up awesome poses and take all the "regular" shots (parents, grandparents, etc.), she did an impromptu boudoir shoot of Joanna, helped lace Jo's corseted dress, and tied Drey and the groomsmen's ties! You wouldn't know she was there as she stealthily (is that a word?) made her way around both the ceremony and the reception. She is a fun, personable, creative lady who I would gladly give a recommendation for. You can also reach her on her facebook page.
