Growing and Learning

So many things have happened since last I wrote:
  • My friend in need is doing better and I think everything is going to be okay.
  • My other friend will most likely get a visit today - to catch up on all the happenings since last we spoke.
  • Work flew by in a flash and flurry of activity, as always. It is incredible how many things have to happen to keep a major building running. Wow! I am allowed to get help, however none is available very often so that is difficult. There are so many little things that need to be handled.
  • Our Brittany is going downhill quickly. Everyone is noticing it now. She gets to very depressed because she's running into things. We try to keep her spirits up with treats and such, but she still just mopes around. Her nose must be pretty sore and she had a major asthma attack this morning - so bad that she wouldn't go outside after that. We all know what is coming, and while that doesn't make it any easier, it does help us all prepare. Pretty soon.
  • In regards to one of my SOGOTP (shit or get off the pot) things, I do believe I have shat. Tis been a long time in coming, but it feels good to have finally decided and taken action. Thank you bat friends - I love you.
  • Regarding another SOGOTP, I continue to procrastinate and put off. Eventually something will happen that will remove my choice from the matter, but until that happens, I continue to choose no.
  • One of my bat friends has said FI to her job and is moving on! You go girl! She' s going to step into the world of consulting and I know she is going to kick ass! Call 555-1010 for a good Emergency time! LOL!!
  • Why do we continue to send soldiers overseas? We have established there were no WOMD, so there is really nothing more we can do. It's kind of like the outsider trying to sort out the squabbles of a large family. They can call each other names and beat the hell out of one another, but don't YOU dare say anything. We are sending our citizens, out bravest of brave, out like lambs to the slaughter - and in no way do I mean that as a reflection of our soldiers or their abilities! Something different sticks out like a sore thumb and our people are easy targets for the disturbed residing over there. What I am trying to say is that I think we have done all we can for that particular area; we need to pull our soldiers back and let the people figure things out for themselves.
  • You know where our soldiers could be best put to use? Right here in our own country!! It is quite obvious our police forces are not being provided with enough funding and assistance, so this is a win-win situation. We have specially trained soldiers who can assist our police with so many of the bad things we have here! Let them find meth houses, break up the gangs, find child molesters and child porn rings, immigrant slaves, catch the nasty pimps controlling the 118 Ave girls, restore order in our own communities! Enough with the bloody Green Team already. When is the last time you heard of a pot head hitting a woman with a van and raping another lady? Alternately, when is the last time you heard of a good meth bust? Meth bust ... what's that? Come on people!! The freakin' meth heads get more and more holes in their brains with each hit they take, slowly killing themselves and seriously endangering the rest of us! Put our soldiers out in the community to show what will and will not be tolerated. They stand a lesser chance of being killed or losing a leg, and we get our act together and things cleaned up again.

I believe I'm spent. Have a good day, stay safe and remember to smile!

Toodles!
